Strategic Alliance with Government of Andhra Pradesh

Our chief promoter, Mr. Sundara Rajan, explaining the project to The Chief Secretary and Commissioner of Horticulture, Government of Andhra Pradesh at HORTIEXPO 2004.

The Janani Group has submitted a Draft memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The main objective of the proposed MOU is to extend technical services to farmers and to guide farmers is implementation of new technologies. The draft MOU's thrust is on:

• Contract Farming

• Horti Processing

• Export Promotion

• Micro propagation techniques

• Hybrids

• Post Harvest Systems

• Green houses

on a large scale. In order to ensure that the farm producer meets the desired quality standards, the proposed MOU is committed to dovetail various farm productions related schemes in a converged manner in the area where Horticulture Processing Units are set up.
